Personal Stuff

I am bonded in love, marriage and faith with my wife, Amy. I am step-father to three, oftentimes, wonderful children: Tiffany, Joey and Lisa. I am in servitude to three dogs: Klondike, Avery and Winston. I thought the dogs would teach me patience, they haven't, but then again they refuse to learn any tricks I attempt to teach them.
The children teach me many things including that age is not a requirement for wisdom.

From Amy I have learned far too much to put on this simple website. She shows me every day that love is vibrant. More importantly she has walked with me as I have grown in my relationship with God. Hers is a steady hand, which has provided me untold comfort and guidance.

Spiritual

We are members of Covenant Baptist Church, a small but growing congregation of thoughtful believers, and accepting Christians. The lessons I learn from this wonderful group of people could fill volumes.

Career Stuff

I have been a radio broadcaster for what will soon be three decades. I can be heard each morning on Newsradio 1200 WOAI at 6:22 and 8:22 with “Cyberstuff”; additionally I broadcast live on KJ-97 each morning as Chris Michaels. Thanks to the miracles of technology I also am the news anchor for WACO-FM in Waco, Texas and five stations in Corpus Christi, including Newsradio 1360 KKTX.
