No Sleep Tonight

Amy and I are currently in bed playing with our Christmas toys....

I'll wait while you get your mind out of the gutter.

That's better.

We splurged - a little - and scrimped a lot and now both own laptop computers. We purchased them early because the rebate deals were too good to pass up and we can justify them - probably even write them off our taxes - if we squint a little. They're not top of the line computers but they're functional. So now my wife and I are in bed...watching TV...and surfing the net. Things are really heating up too...

We have an electric blanket. Shame on you.

So now you blog in bed? Do you turn up the volum so you are notified when someone signs on? Are they networked together? Do you get night rates for the internet? There are a lot of questions you are going to have to answer to... wait and see. You and Amy may have started the next big trend. Its good to see you having fun.

Well, you two are stylin' now! We'd never heard of such a thing until our oldest son, Scotty, got married in August, 2004. He and Brooke soon let us in on the secrets of life in the bedroom--all about the joys of his and her laptops.

This morning it's pouring snow here in KC. Doug and I--both self-employed with no where to go--stayed under the blankets with our "babies" a little longer than usual.

Welcome, and have a blast!

I bought Crys her laptop as an early CHristmas gift, (gotta love ebay), and she too takes it to bed every night where she works on her artwork or writing while I read and watch reruns of Roseanne.

:)

I work from home... and with three extra people in the house, two of whom are in college, it's hard to get all of my work done -- our adopted family loves to talk.

As for the computers, yes, they're all networked. Currently, 2 PCs, 2 laptops, and I'm working on building a 3rd PC to put in Lee's room.

Tonight is the first chance I've really had to play. I could get used to this.
