Good Jorb
Um....you folks pray very well.
The federal government has used its power of discernment to realize that Amy is indeed disabled.
There was some lawyering and compromising, and no one is going to retire...but in a couple of months we're going to be able to kill some more dragons and Amy can now focus a lot more on getting healthy and worry a lot less about money.
Our next goal is for Amy to declare to the federal government that she is "able."
But it sure is nice knowing we don't have to fight anyone over this issue any longer.
Bless you for your prayers and many kindnesses.
We're taking the rest of the day off.

p.s. To my editors out there - the title of this post is correct. You need to lighten up...go find an Internet cartoon to watch or something :)

Awesome! Been praying often today for you guys. I'm so happy to hear it is resolved to some degree.
you call your critics "editors" ??? I call them the "grammar police"......they are everywhere!
I couldn't sleep. I wanted to come here to say thank you to all of you who have stood with us in prayer. I thank God for each and every one of you... some of whom we've met, most we haven't. You bless us with your prayers, your love, and your comments. You keep us going.
I love you for it.
And thank you, Michael, for being my rock through all of this. I couldn't have made it without you.
I love you for everything you do and for everything you are.
Amy

Such wonderful news, Michael and Amy! God bless your every step on the road to "able"!
A blessing, a blessing from the Lord. God be praised!
One of the conflicting truths about chronic illness is that - when you are recognised/recognise that you are very ill, and have been for some time, you often "turn the corner", the need to defend yourslef is removed, and just maybe, begin the road to recovery.
Now - for some reason I suspect that is also true with out spiritual life - when we realise how muct of a rotten sinner we are, we are ready to receive God's grace.
Anyhow - Amy congratulations on convincing the judge you really are ill. But I like Michael's statement - you can now look forward to convicing the powers that be when you are "able" again.
God bless, and may He pour his oil of healing over you, and being you back on the journey to wholeness and health again.
Bless you - Janet
Congrats! Thats great news!
Rachel.
